Ear Better Wax Removal is a family-owned company run by a qualified and HCPC registered hearing aid dispenser (RHAD). Utilizing the latest equipment and most effective techniques, we can offer a thorough, comfortable and pain-free experience for anyone suffering with ear wax build up.

Microsuction

Microsuction is widely considered to be the safest and cleanest method of ear wax removal as water is not required.

Irrigation / Ear syringing

Irrigation uses luke warm water to gently flush the wax out of the ear. Particularly useful if the wax is sat on the eardrum.

Manual extraction

A variety of manual extraction tools can be utilized to gently dislodge hard dry wax from the ear canal, usually wax found near the canal entrance.

  • We recommend that you soften the ear wax with olive oil based ear drops (or similar) 3-5 days prior to your appointment unless you know of any existing condition whereby this would be inappropriate.

  • No additional charges if a continuation appointment is required.

  • No ear wax present but symptoms remain? We can send you a doctors referral letter so that you can get the correct help.

  • We cannot provide ear wax removal treatment for anyone under the age of 18 years old.

  • Residential, assisted living and care home appointments welcome.

  • HCPC registered and fully insured.

  • NHS ear wax referrals welcome.
